Are you looking for a senior front-end web developer to offer their skills and experience to support your agency team?
I provide a range of development services and can work seamlessly with your designers and developers. I’m often told by in-house colleagues that they feel like I’m a genuine extension of their team.
I also collaborate with other freelancers to deliver projects for direct clients and their businesses.
Let’s be honest – support and maintenance is boring. You don’t want to do it. Internal IT teams are often too busy to do it.
You may even question whether it matters, as it’s a service that mostly goes unseen. Until something breaks, or your site is compromised.
Support helps prevent problems and can come to the rescue if they do occur.
I’ve spent my career helping designers and developers collaborate. I help clients feel someone can answer their questions in plain English rather than tech jargon.
I’ve built and supported a software product, provided website content management training and run in-person workshops.
I had already been there, done that and got the trainer t-shirt – but I’ve finally decided to wear it.
Online courses I’m pitching
I have a lot of ideas! The best way to see if one may have legs is to put it out there and see how people respond. Here’s the first, I’ve got more coming soon. Feel free to email me any feedback you have, or join the waitlist. If I get enough sign-ups I’ll get to work!
Happy Hardy clients
About me
My name’s Alex Hardy and I’m a developer with over 25 years’ industry experience.
I started out in 1999 making multimedia CD-ROMs and later websites made in Flash. These days I make carefully crafted responsive websites that look and work great on all devices.
I’ve worked with small businesses to big brands across a wide range of sectors. Some of those were as close as just down the road and some (very much) further away.
I’ve been freelance for over 10 years, since parenthood and career goals aligned. With over 50 recommendations on LinkedIn (and counting) it’s going pretty well so far!
Rainforest pledge
Like many people these days I’m concerned by the environmental challenges the world faces.
I have pledged to donate 1% of my earnings to the World Land Trust. Each £100 donation to their ‘Buy an Acre’ programme enables them to purchase one acre of rainforest habitat and protect it in perpetuity.
I’ll also be transparent by reporting on progress.
April 2025 progress update:
10 acres bought – 90 to go!
